This is my first time trying calm strips. The soft sand texture feels so nice, and it calms me.
I bought them for a school counselor and she was happy to recieve them. I had never heard of them but she has given them out to her fellow colleagues before.
I've bought this set twice now. Really love the design and the soft sand texture is mildly soothing. I keep one on the back of my cellphone. I really notice its absence, like when I got a new phone case.
My son uses these to calm himself (he's in his 40's) when he feel a panic attack or anxiety attack starts. He carries on his work bag, back of his phone and with his keys. They are greatly helping.
The design on these strips is beautiful, no doubt about it. I love it completely and would use these as stickers even if they had no texture. That said, I do think the smooth sand texture is a bit too smooth for my personal taste. It's a very, very light touch to it which might be exactly what you're looking for so definitely give it a try.
