My girls quickly nabbed up the strips to play with. I ordered two type of textures. Both are amazing and my girls enjoyed telling me which texture was good for which mood they were in to calm down.

Exactly what I expected. I must say I like the tracing idea better for calming me down. To each their own :).

My son was experiencing anger that at times he was having difficulty managing. We talked about these and how they work and he was so excited to receive them! Every day he clips it onto his belt loop or pocket as he’s getting dressed. He loves the picture and the texture is very mild but effective. It’s helpful for those kids who need a reminder “it’s okay to be angry, but I need to work through it” - this gives them kind of a chance to redirect themselves and an opportunity to manage their emotions more effectively.
